HOW DO YOU CHARGE?
We charge a fixed day rate per party plus GST. Travel and meeting room costs are extra. All costs are payable before the mediation meeting date.
WHERE IS THE MEDIATION CONDUCTED?
At a neutral physical venue agreeable to both parties. We use the NSW Law Society mediation rooms but, we also offer online via Skype or Blackboard
HOW DO WE START?
One or both parties makes a direct enquiry of us on 02 98181813 or info@slaterslawyers.com. We then advise our estimated costs and whether or not we have a conflict. Next, we all agree on a date and time and discuss logistics. We will send our mediation contract for signature by both parties together with our invoice.
WHAT IS MEDIATION?
Mediation is a private, informal meeting of the parties with a neutral person experienced in mediation. The parties have an opportunity to discuss the issues that give rise to the dispute.
